This is my favorite group of drawings picked by a customer in June. It’s such a pretty grouping with warm tones in oranges, reds, coral and plum. Balanced nicely with some periwinkle blue, aqua, navy and soft gray. The four drawings included are Santa Fe Sunset, Jackrabbits on orange, aqua butterflies with red flowers and apricot globe mallows. All have been given boarders. Giclee printed on fine art photographic paper, square. Available in 5”, 8” & 12”. All standard square frame sizes.
The inspiration: One of my favorite things about doing markets is seeing what customers choose to go together. People often show me pictures of their home asking for help finding colors that will fit with their decor. Others choose without reference to me and I’m always interested in how the prints they hand me look together. There are often combinations that I have never tried before that I end up loving. This group started with a love of the butterfly print. They wanted it to go on a large wall and so decided to pick four of my 12” prints to go in larger frames, planning to hang them in a grid. We pulled out many options and this was the fabulous group that sold the whole idea. I was then asked to add the borders like in my scarves, so they could double mat and then have another colored layer accentuating that framed look. Hope you love it as much as the three of us did!
