The inspiration: My New Mexico collection would not be complete without celebrating the Jackrabbit. I usually see these leaping away fast across the landscape. The sun glowing peach through their giant ears! These nighttime drawings I did from a dusk video of Jackrabbits drinking at a small pool. I thought it was lovely to see such a quiet part of their lives. Pare this drinking hare with its mate who is looking up. Also see the scarf design these two went into, available as a print with a peach or orange background.
