My Antelope Jackrabbit drawing as a large silk scarf approximately 34” square. Super soft and glossy 100% silk Charmeuse, beautiful drape, irons up to perfection easily on low. Fabric printed in Quebec, drawings & hand stitched rolled hem done by myself, Sihaya Hopkins.
The inspiration: The colors in this scarf like the Jackrabbits themselves, mirror the New Mexico landscape with pastel hues is peach, sage green and light browns. We’ve seen lots of wildlife since moving here almost a year & a half ago. The Jackrabbits are a thrill to see with their gigantic size, the light glowing through their ears and the speed that they launch out into and across your plan of vision. Wow!
