The inspiration: Apricot Globe Mallows are native to the arid American Southwest. They draw the eye as you look across the pastel yellow and sage green hues of our New Mexico landscape. I’ve given them a periwinkle blue sky background as the orange of these flowers and the blue of the sky around them are equally bold.
