My Santa Fe Sunset design as a bandana. Done in a soft Pima Cotton Lawn with options for 1/8” fine machine or hand stitched rolled hems(rolled hems pictured), approximately 26” square. Fabric printed in the UK, drawings & stitching done by myself, Sihaya Hopkins.
Layers of clouds, light & sky in slate blues, peachy/coral, mauve, apricot & yellow over mountains and landscape in deep plum.
The inspiration, I moved to New Mexico from Maine a little over a year ago. Trading the ocean for big sky & mountains. We now live at the very southern tip of Santa Fe. Looking away from the city southwest ward. Pretty much every evening treats us to a marvelous sunset!
