My Bur Oak design as a 100% silk twill scarf, approximately 23” square. Buttery soft silk with perfect weight & drape. Irons up to perfection easily. Fabric printed in the UK, hand stitched rolled hem done by myself.
The inspiration: I have always loved an oak leaf and acorns design. When I moved to New Mexico I encountered the Burr Oak. There are several near my home creating deep cool shade in the dry heat of summer. In the Fall they turn all my favorite shades of amber and brown!
