Here’s my drawing of a yellow plane in a blue sky. Giclee printed on fine art photographic paper, square. Available in 5”, 8” (pictured) & 12”. All standard square frame sizes.

The inspiration: I grew up in Alaska, living in the bush all through my teens. I’d go to town just twice a year. We used Bush planes fairly regularly for supplies and sometimes to get to town. They can bring you extra special things like ice cream and watermelons as well as give you the most amazing view of the world. They can take you an entire days journey in a magical hour and toss you into culture shock almost faster than your system can cope. They can drop you back into the wild just as fast and the cacophony of town will just slip away. This plane I drew after floating in the pool at my apartment in Santa Fe, 30 years away from the planes in my past. We are not far from the airport and as I looked up into the blue sky a yellow small plane flew over. 💛
