Here’s a selection of some of my butterfly drawings. Giclee printed on fine art photographic paper, 8” x 8” square print, sold individually.
The inspiration: These are some of the first drawings I did during the pandemic. I would do a collection of drawings on a theme. Usually colorful and season appropriate. I’d get them printed on 2&1/2” square business cards that came with 50 assorted images. Then I’d photograph my glass jewelry line with them, harmonizing the colors. I was endeavoring to give my work a fresh look, presenting it exclusively online because of the circumstances of the pandemic. When I eventually designed my first silk scarves I worked from these drawings and loved the results.
