EA. Snowy Owl 26” Throw Pillow

My Snowy Owl drawing printed on Organic Cotton Satin. The light brown and white feathers and yellow eyed face are set off on a background of light winter blue. This has a zipper along the bottom and a 26” feather pillow insert with a cotton case sourced from IKEA.

Inspiration: I grew up in Alaska. A place where the seasons are dramatically pronounced. Spring and Fall are quick in their transition and instead of a gentle change in temperatures they are more highlighted by their massive bird migrations. You know it is finally Spring when thousands of Whooping Cranes, Canada Geese, Ducks & Swans one day take advantage of the break in the weather and make their flight north. Their route placing them directly above our 100 year old cabin in the wilderness. In Alaska spotting wildlife is very rewarding. It’s there in abundance. White creatures are essentially fun as they can be rare but very spottable at a distance. Mountain Goats, Beluga Whales & Snowy Owls for example.
