The inspiration: When I did my Great Horned Owl drawing I discovered how very popular owls are. So I began to draw more of the owls of New Mexico. Burrowing, Mexican Spotted, Flamulated and Western Screech owls so far. Then I just had to draw the Snowy. Even though we do not get them in New Mexico. They are nostalgic from my childhood in Alaska.
