The inspiration: My New Mexico collection features a lot of the fauna of the Southwest. These wildcats live across almost the entire lower 48 of the US. When designing a line of silk scarves on an American wilderness theme I definitely wanted to include our own wild cat spots, as a slight nod to the leopard spots of mainstream fashion. This cat also has a Ponderosa pine cone to play with! Scarf design also available as a print.
